Out Of State
Field Trips
From
our first glimpse of New York City’s famous skyline as we fly
in to our final wave goodbye, our “Big Apple” adventure will
not soon be forgotten. Whether it’s walking in the footsteps
of some of the most influential entertainers while touring
Radio City Music Hall, becoming part of news in the making at
NBC studios or simply strolling down Fifth Avenue, we will be
creating a journey to remember. Our views of the city include
those from the water, aboard the ferry to Statue of Liberty
and Ellis Island, from the ground, as we visit Ground Zero,
the site of the September 11, 2001 tragedy, and from the air,
as we view the city from the famous Empire State Building. Add
visits to the American Museum of Natural History, the Rose
Center for Earth and Space Science and the USS Intrepid: Sea,
Air and Space Museum, and link it all together with meals at
some of the most famous restaurants, such as the Hard Rock
Café and John’s Famous Pizzeria and we have the perfect
balance of fun and learning. Top it off with a Broadway show,
a theater workshop and a tour of the United Nations and our
trip is complete! Until it’s time to come back and explore
some more……

Delving Into Our
Nation's History4th Grade-High School (2
day trip)
A Dive Into Williamsburg, Virginia
Become
part of the rich history of our nation that many never see as
we step back in time and explore Colonial Williamsburg.
Costumed guides lead our study of life in the colonial past,
and, after we get to know it by day, we’ll explore its former
residents by night during our Twilight Ghost Tour! Colonial
life comes alive again with activites at the Jamestown
Settlement and Yorktown Victory Center where students will
study wide-ranging topics including Colonial Medicine and
Living With the Indians. Nauticus: The National Maritime
Center fills our minds and imaginations with battleship tours,
shark interaction, film presentations and theater events.
Touring the harbor by boat, we get a close-up view of giant
submarines and aircraft carriers. Top of this fun-packed
interactive learning experience with a little r & r at Busch
Gardens Williamsburg Theme Park and you have a history lesson
come alive forever in the minds of your students.
