Surfside SafariFrom our first glimpse of New York City’s famous skyline as we fly in to our final wave goodbye, our “Big Apple” adventure will not soon be forgotten. Whether it’s walking in the footsteps of some of the most influential entertainers while touring Radio City Music Hall, becoming part of news in the making at NBC studios or simply strolling down Fifth Avenue, we will be creating a journey to remember. Our views of the city include those from the water, aboard the ferry to Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, from the ground, as we visit Ground Zero, the site of the September 11, 2001 tragedy, and from the air, as we view the city from the famous Empire State Building. Add visits to the American Museum of Natural History, the Rose Center for Earth and Space Science and the USS Intrepid: Sea, Air and Space Museum, and link it all together with meals at some of the most famous restaurants, such as the Hard Rock Café and John’s Famous Pizzeria and we have the perfect balance of fun and learning. Top it off with a Broadway show, a theater workshop and a tour of the United Nations and our trip is complete! Until it’s time to come back and explore some more……

With it’s rich history and great modern significance, Washington DC is a must-discover destination for students of all ages. We’ll begin our exploration by visiting the Three Branches of the United States Government- the White House (Executive), the Capitol building (Legislative) and the U.S. Supreme Court (Judicial). Both by night and by day, the capital’s historic monuments are a breathtaking sight. We’ll have an opportunity to view and visit many of the most spectacular, including the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, Jefferson Memorial and many more. No trip to DC is complete without a tour of Arlington National Cemetery and some time spent exploring the natural and historic wonders to be found in the unparalleled museums of the Smithsonian Institute. Customize your tour to include a Potomac Riverboat Cruise or a meeting with your Congressperson, and create a learning adventure unlike any other!

Delving Into Our Nation's History Summary

A Dive Into Williamsburg, Virginia

Day at Dickinson- Comparative Ecosystems Marine EcologyBecome part of the rich history of our nation that many never see as we step back in time and explore Colonial Williamsburg. Costumed guides lead our study of life in the colonial past, and, after we get to know it by day, we’ll explore its former residents by night during our Twilight Ghost Tour! Colonial life comes alive again with activites at the Jamestown Settlement and Yorktown Victory Center where students will study wide-ranging topics including Colonial Medicine and Living With the Indians. Nauticus: The National Maritime Center fills our minds and imaginations with battleship tours, shark interaction, film presentations and theater events. Touring the harbor by boat, we get a close-up view of giant submarines and aircraft carriers. Top of this fun-packed interactive learning experience with a little r & r at Busch Gardens Williamsburg Theme Park and you have a history lesson come alive forever in the minds of your students.
